Poem: Undone

Let hurtful words be unheard and unsaid,
the quiet yearning left unfed;
Have all the broken oaths unsworn
and notes and letters all untorn ;
Make tears unwept, each lie untold,
the anger unburning and the bed uncold,
the happiness uncherished, the wrongs unsought,
and the petty quarrels made unfought;
The joy and sadness, the false and true,
All that we shared we must undo;
It may last this time if we start anew
So now I begin... with unloving you.

(Yeah, it's shit. Grammar nazis, spellfreaks and elitist poets, you may begin your assault.)

WOW! This is a deep poem, I wish I could forget all the hurt and pain that comes along with life and relationships. That every tear I cried were happy tears.

This poem really speaks to me! Great volumes! I needed this, so I will try my best to start a new!

well i think it is awesome... it is clean cut and says exactly what you wanted to say... that is what poetry is... bleeding on the page when the only thing that will help is to bleed...

you are a very tightly strung emotional person.. and i truly you believe you will find yourself in poetry if you look a little bit...

this poem was a beacon,, and a wonderful new beginning....

I like the poem, but I don't like the unloving part! Even if I know what you mean, I don't like thinling about it today!
How come I didn't saw that award?Congratulation(This is one of the wordl I hate saying, I'm always having a hard time to pronunce it!)

Normally I'm not a fan of poetry unless you're actually a poet, and even then I'm not very easy to please.
But this is a great poem.

I guess I can feel your pain all the way from here. Wish I could do something for you.

Thanks... I'll work hard.:)

I thought I did have an ounce of talent about 7 years ago, when I was an Literary Department Editor back in College. Looking at the poems I created then today, I feel that I knew nothing after all. I still am very insecure about what I express.

Jill
The unloving part is necessary to rediscover the love, Jill. "If ever I forget everything we shared... then I'll just have to fall in love with you all over again."- a line from a movie I really liked.

Abbey
I told you before, remember? In my bitterness and emptiness, I create. :)

Miss Milk
Well... thanks for reading it anyway. I'm nowhere near Ginsberg or Neruda, but I do try (and despair).

Thanks and welcome to my blog!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I picked that up from an anime movie. That's the best line in Card Captor Sakura the Movie 2.

It's weird that it sounds familiar...I watch the serie when we had Teletoon on cable, but in french!( I still watch too much cartoon1! My favorite right now is one from France, I think,and it's name Code Lyoko)
